12 Mar The Grind
Rachel Boots in progress
Today my fingers are sore. I have been making shoes as fast as I can for our impending launch at the Seasons of New England market on 30th March. We have set our selves a rather large task of having 20 pairs of shoes, 13 pairs of slippers and as many sandal tops ready to go as we can. So far, we have all of them cut out, half of them sewn up and only 3 pairs of shoes lasted up.
I don’t want to sleep or eat or do anything other than prepare for this momentous occasion. Perhaps I’ll look back in time and realise it’s not as scary as I think right now.
